The Scottish Borders is a large area of land that stretches from the east southern coast of Scotland across to Dumfries and Galloway on the west. The region is made up of many towns and villages of all shapes and sizes surrounded by stunning backdrops of rolling hills, copious forests, verdant landscapes and winding valleys.

Inglestone House is located in the centre of the picturesque Border town of Kelso, situated in the heart of the Scottish Borders.

Just off the towns historic cobbled square, Inglestone House is close to all the local amenities; shops, restaurants, attractions and the ever popular Springwood Park, which hosts a variety of events throughout the year.

Public Transport

Buses

Borders Buses (https://www.bordersbuses.co.uk/services) are the main bus company to Kelso from Edinburgh and Berwick upon Tweed.

Peter Hogg (http://roadhoggs.net/timetables.html) have bus services throughout the borders and North Northumberland.

 

Trains

The nearest mainline train stations are at Berwick-Upon-Tweed and Edinburgh.

The Borders Railway(https://www.scotrail.co.uk/) runs a service from Edinburgh Waverley to Galashiels (for buses to Kelso) or Tweedbank (where there is a large car park if you want to visit Edinburgh during your stay).

There are several Taxi companies in Kelso with the main stand being in the Town Square.
